View and submit class notes online

Here’s how to view and submit Class Notes via the HAA website. If you missed the deadline for the 35th-Reunion Class Report, please let us know what’s up.
You’re welcome to submit class notes online, just be sure to mention “1981”!(*). These notes appear on the alumni website, and in Harvard Magazine (print & online), although not in the Class Report.
Read Class Notes
There are two ways to see our Class Notes online:
- View some “1981” class notes at Harvard.edu, (*) via the HAA’s Alumni-Community website. The list will be incomplete, due to problems with that site.
- View all Class of ’81 notes at HarvardMagazine.edu, which will give a more-complete list. But you’ll have to (a) create an account, and then (b) email the Magazine asking for Alumni status, which might take a few days.
(*) NOTES & WARNINGS:
- In order to access the good stuff on the HAA website, you’ll need to “claim your HarvardKey“. As Harvardian bureaucracy goes, it’s an easy one-time authentication. (Once it’s set up, you’ll almost-automatically get into the HAA site every time, if you let your browser remember your password.)
But you’ll need your “HAA ID”: get it from the bottom of any HAA email, or contact the HAA, or call Harvard IT (617-495-7777). - Please be sure to mention “1981” in your class note; the Class Notes search feature has ‘issues’ and needs your help. (We’re promised a repair: Summer 2016.)

Dear Classmate,
It’s Class Report time. We hope to collect a record number of submissions. Kindly submit your entry earlier versus later.
While I appreciate that procrastination always gives one something to look forward to, early submissions will significantly help us put our 35th Class Report book together. Moving forward our Class Report shares a story about the Class of 1981. We wish to hear from you. Every classmate receives a copy of our book, regardless of participation. You have two methods to submit your report and your remittance: electronic or paper.
Electronic (please)
Please access the Class of 1981 35th Report website at http://harvard81.reuniontechnologies.com.
Log in using your Alumni.Harvard ID and password. (If you have not yet obtained one, you must first go to alumni.harvard.edu to register. For authentication at alumni.harvard.edu you will need your unique ten-digit HAA ID number. you should have gotten an email with this number.
Paper (if you must)
Look for a paper questionnaire to arrive in your mailbox within the next week or two. Fill it out and return it to the Class Report Office along with the included voluntary contribution slip and your check payable to the College Class Report Fund.
The Class Report Office will receive submissions until the final deadline of October 30, 2015.
If submitting your information and narrative via our website, please also consider a voluntary contribution to help cover our costs; the contribution is tax-deductible and counts as a participation gift in our class reunion campaign.
