An unofficial (i.e., not HAA-sanctioned) mini-reunion in the San Francisco Bay Area is being planned by a committee of your classmates.
This extended weekend is hosted and organized by: Vivian Lee, Joe McDonough, Sam Perry, and Steve Zelinger, with special thanks to Mark Battey and David Blumberg, without whom it would not be possible. Ticket proceeds in excess of costs, if any, will be donated by organizers to the Class of 1981 for use on future reunions.

Events: What, When, Where
Friday, May 2
- 2 – 4 pm: Filoli Mansion and gardens. Walk the grounds and gardens and greet classmates. Buy ticket on Eventbrite (below).
- 6 – 9 pm: Welcome reception chez Joe and Kennon McDonough in Belmont.
Saturday, May 3
- 8 – 10 am: Purissima Creek Redwoods Preserve, Half Moon Bay Meet in the Parking Lot. Walk will be led by Mark Gluck.
- 1 – 5 pm: Social and sharing ideas at Mark and Jayne Battey’s Miramar Farms in Half Moon Bay. Location, snacks, lunch events, and entertainment are ALL INCLUDED in your weekend registration
- 5 pm to sunset: Dinner at Half Moon Bay Brewing. Private room and appetizers ARE INCLUDED in your registration. Buy your own dinner and drinks.
Sunday, May 4
- 8:30 – 10:30 am: Light breakfast and walk at Presidio Tunnel Tops Park. Meet at Picnic at Transit Buy your own breakfast.
- 11 am – 2 pm: Brunch and reception at the home of David Blumberg & Michel Armand in SF.
- Afternoon: Tour San Francisco sites on your own.
- 6 pm – 9 pm, Scoma’s of Sausalito, Sit by the Bay, laugh with classmates, and watch the world go by. Buy your own drinks and food.
Monday, May 5
- 9 am: Walk at Lands End & Golden Gate Trail Meet at the Visitor Center Casual walk with stellar views. Led by Joe McDonough.
- 1-3 pm, private wine tasting at Ridge Monte Bello Vineyards Buy ticket on Eventbrite at link below.. Limit: 60 guests.

- Weekend Registration, covers all events from Friday evening to Monday morning. Required. $175 + Eventbrite fee.
- Filoli Mansion & Gardens, Friday afternoon. Optional. $30 + Eventbrite fee
- Ridge Winery Wine Tasting, Monday afternoon. Optional. $75 + Eventbrite fee. Attendance limited to 60 total.
Refunds are available up to Friday, April 4 via Eventbrite. Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.

Other Notes
- Dress for all social events is casual.
- Free bottle of champagne for any classmate who wears a toga to the Friday Night Welcome Reception.
- Active footwear is essential for Miramar Farms and all walks.
